Who We Are
OrgSupport was founded in 2006 by Craig Ottavelli. With six years of experience as a
communications coordinator for the Washington State Board for Community and Technical
Colleges and a lifetime of volunteerism with local nonprofits, he recognized a need to marry
low-cost staffing services with the unique needs of nonprofit boards and executive directors.

Craig L. Ottavelli
My formal training is in higher education,
policy analysis. I have earned a bachelor's
degree from The Evergreen State College and
a master's degree from Dartmouth College.
My first love has always been volunteerism,
and I have been fortunate to work with
many organizations and individuals in my
community both as a member of boards and as
a volunteer. Professionally, I have a background
in education and communications. Now, in
addition to my work with myriad organizations,
I serve as a member of the Olympia City
Council. My wife Amy and I have two sons,
ages five and one. With the wonderful changes
our children bring to our lives, I feel inspired to
combine my passion for the work of volunteers
with my expertise in organization, project
management, and inter-group communications.
I have personally witnessed the transformational
impact that skilled facilitators can bring to
a group of professionals focused on a clear
mission and goals. It is my desire to help
Northwest organizations succeed by providing
professional staffing and support services.
